David Wicker Morris began his career in 1988 as a third generational member of Morris Recycling Incorporated that was founded in the early 1940’s.  MRI was the precursor and forefront of the recycling industry throughout Mississippi and the Mid-South.

Wick, having experienced every aspect of the operations and logistics management of the recycling industry, advanced to Vice-President of Operations and Transportation at MRI over a short period of time.  In 1997, Wick and three other investors purchased the company from the previous generation.  At this point, they created a business model that more than tripled the company size and  sales over the next six years.  MRI became the largest recycling company in Mississippi and a key player of the southeast region of the United States.

Wick and his wife, Samantha, a small business owner, reside in their home state of Mississippi.  They have two children. James David is a senior at New Albany High School who plans on attending Mississippi State University majoring in Physical Therapy, and Sam Wicker is an eighth grader at New Albany Middle School.

Wick can be reached at 662-538-4612.
